If you are delivering Blended Learning courses using the
Direct Links platform, the following information is important.
Otherwise please disregard this message.The Direct Links platform will be retiring in January 2024. To prepare for this change, we encourage you to transition now to the recently introduced Request Online Class (ROC) tool, available at the Red Cross Learning Center (RCLC).
Using the ROC tool to deliver these classes will provide the same benefits and pay structure of Direct Links while adding additional features, including:
One ROC course can be used for multiple, in-person sessions
Student management including viewing registration and completion status
Adding additional seats, if needed
You can start using the ROC tool immediately to administer the courses that are currently offered through Direct Links. Please reference this document for a brief overview regarding the transition from Direct Links to ROC. Visit the "How-To Information and Videos" section of RCLC for more detailed information.
