Coming Soon: American Red Cross Changes to the Way Course Records Are Entered

We are enhancing how course records are entered and processed to better enable student training that helps save lives.

  1. Instructors and administrators will be required to enter a unique email for each student when entering course records. The email must be different from the instructor and all other students in the class.

  2. We’re adding a new “helpers” feature supporting the course record entry process. A helper is a person certified in the Red Cross course being taught who serves as a participant if there are not enough student to meet the minimum number required to effectively teach the class.

  3. Please remember that you must adhere to the minimum number of participants outlined in the instructor materials in order to close your class. Please list the first and last name of any helpers that participated in the class in order for you to meet class participant minimums.

  4. Course dates and session times (e.g. 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) will now be required when submitting courses through Course Record Entry. All courses must meet Red Cross course time requirements as outlined in the instructor materials.
