Service Description
Active Violence INTERVENTION Response Training (AVIRT) gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations. AVIRT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques on how to stop the bleed of victims. The goal of this training program is to help participants to develop the knowledge and confidence to react quickly if active violence should occur. AVERT is designed to include a significant amount of interaction participation. This program includes cognitive information and participation in activities to help prepare a student for possible active violent events and how to react to improve the likelihood of survival. This program is not intended to meet workplace first aid workplace regulatory requirements. The online portion of this AVERT blended learning course is a prerequisite for the classroom training portion. Addition CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid Training is highly recommended.

We will gladly allow you to move your paid registration (1) ONE time to another class date within 1 day/24 hours of your original class date as long as there is availability.  Due to the demand of classes and the limited space, we do not refund payments.
